That was the only way to get you player model into a position so that it could land in the gap in geometry
You had to crouch into a wall before jumping
My presumption was that caused your player position to desync into a soft corrupted state and that player state combined with certain angles broke a collision function
No, it was a glitch with crouching in an area that your model while crouched would barely fit into. It caused your hitbox to get deformed when you werenāt crouching after. Thatās super well documented
Did that deformed hotbox affect hit registration on the player
It didnt. Thatās why Iām confused
Would you like to fully reverse engineer the binary?
It bothers me greatly I have never seen a full technical write-up on the glitch.
