im actually way past that part, been zoomin through the ant arc even though I find some episodes pretty bad (though it has been explained to me that a lot of these eps were being made as the source material was coming out so sometimes they had to greatly stretch out an event that could have taken 5 minutes if they wanted - e.g. octopus underground subarc, some encounters knuckle and friends had)
the ant king/netero fight was p cool, combat overall has been ok, suspense has been building well around the gon vs pitou fight. the narration has been a little over-the-top in some of these episodes I think, some real spoonfeeding at times. hope they touch on the NGL leader more, they had like 2 episodes with long explanations about him and his life but thatās it.

i assume the creators were going for some irony in that the ant king aka the most powerful nen entity on earth got killed by a regular explosive, made by ordinary humans, that did not have nen involved in it

As for closure on the anime you get some but the manga isnāt done yet so you donāt get that much. Itās not a bad ending spot tho
