Regarding the drama, if there is a group of players that does not want to play with another player and it is hampering the activity or ability for a host to start a game, I'm all for timing out the player for 1 game in order to get the ball rolling.
I don't think permanent bans are ever productive, but timeouts are a good way to get people to take a step back and chill out to reflect on what could be changed to make the game more enjoyable for everyone involved.
I will play with benny if we are both still here and playing in one year from the game he lynched me as my mafia partner. I am not alone. He has been "timed out" too many times.
