I was going to post my thoughts on Ian but ultimately it didn’t add anything of value I don’t think. Like I think he’s playing towny but some of the things he’s doing is scummy, like pushing on me because Nyte did, or asking me who he should vote on after "coming to the realization that I’m town”.

not sure if anyone believes me anymore but iirc normal Ian is kinda wishy-washy day 1 and ultimately his posts incite others and tend to feel town aligned for it

Generally scum jump on existing suspicion rather than generating their own, so Ian having the same thought as Nyte about me (which he later scum reads her for), comes off as scummy to me. Like he really commits to it too, needing a full resolution (that I’m drunk rather than it being my nerves as scum). Since then Ian has been pushing on a bunch of people so that looks better now.
So in that situation between Nyte and Ian pushing on me, I usually think Ian is scum. Well played to Nyte if it’s the other way around.
nyte is hard to townread for me so i try to reserve judgement but i get what you mean and appreciate the insight
