All the other players that I have talked to about mafia recently have been very argumentative - you are the only one that is actually saying "I feel like i'm worse and want to know why." All of us should be saying that, we haven't played in like a year
I don't mind one or two, but the last few games have been PR heavy for the player count.

They are fun (/necessary) when we play enough that there's some "meta" and it stops being fun for some people
For example, XYZ are the "good" players and new players don't get any respect even if they actually play well. Or XYZ always get D1'd.

In my first few games I identified the best players and tried to merge their reads into something I liked. But I'll never be a good player if I keep doing that.
You probably didn’t think of every little thing you could that might be possible and therefor stuck with the more simple and obvious tells

I think deep down what makes a bad mafia player is someone who just doesn't have faith in their own abilities. I have thrown like 3 games because I identify a correct read and just can't bring myself to go through with it.
Yeah I think it's worth noting you were one of the earlier players to correctly read Nyte so it's not that you're just wrong it's that you're thinking yourself in circles
yeah the train of consciousness not shifting onto slowdive until the last 15 minutes was weird
