Somehow the whole reddit thread talking about this didn't mention a single time that they did this for basically every large release in the past 15 years (all 2 of them)
I followed Witcher 3 so closely at the time - honestly waiting for it was the reason I didn't off myself
It was a good game in the end but they did fake every demo and showcase and lied about a shit ton of stuff over a very long development cycle

I remember reading something (forget the details) about how these guys hired the best guys from blizzard and other dying game companies, sat them down with the marvel IP, and were just like go ham make some fun shit
Rivals seems like a genuinely fun team shooter (unfortunately I can't play it because i'm not a teenager)
And this looks like a classically good fighting game
I was playing silksong with the homies after not being into video games at all for like years
Unfortunately I won't have time to play again until mid October I think
By then the people I was parallel playing with will be in like their 4th steel soul speedrun multiplayer mod whatever
That game is going to change my life
