OH BNOOOO EACH EJWELE DOESNT DO A NEW UNIQUE SEX MOVE
NOOOO I DONT NEED THOSE TETRIS PIECES ALL I NEED IS THE L BLOCK
It doesn't have to be wholly unique, but it shouldn't be "Walk forward with your left foot" vs "Walk with your right foot", no?
I just want to make something fun man, there's no need to demonize it so much. If I knew that your ideas are more fun I would do it in a heartbeat.
you're a fucking ■■■■■■
you aren't even concerned with making anything that resembles a puzzle and you're more concerned which actives the trinkets have
there is zero good reason to even have the bejeweled game in your game at all
remove it and put in buttons or something
No dude that's just to make a demo to the public, do you seriously think I added that stuff and drew all the sprites for myself?
again, your puzzle is a gimmick to enable the outer gameplay
When toprak was playing yesterday he can attest to this @You_lose_i_win :
I constantly told him that I don't care about his items/DCSS ideas and just want to focus on puzzle mechanics
spend some of your 5k ■■■■■■ bucks on that 500 pages of pdfs you animal
Let's work on it together
Shouldn't I apply for the 20k one? or are both fine?
as in applying to both simultaneously
Think of it this way: Is Peglin's peggle a gimmick to enable the outer gameplay? No.
This is currently in the same state, I don't like being so close to Peglin, and that's why I'm working on mechanics instead of just adding more shit now.
The game is getting pretty good. I can see where Jones is coming from when he says that the gem board in combat is a bit tacked on -- but I have fun with it. The one CRITICAL issue with that aspect is that I care little for the gray gems because they are dull looking and blend in with the background. I like that you're experimenting with this idea even it can be argued to be imperfect.
Thank you but I still don't think the game is good. Also the background color changes with the levels. You can skip ahead to next levels with the 0 key to cheat.
The plan is to have an actual board graphic eventually to hold the tiles.
Yeah, I was about to say that. That's a good idea.
My question is how do you make it "tacked on" less when right now it's pretty much the only game you really do?
