I used to be able to understand supporting Trump. He was funny and good at making his opponents look like a fool. I could understand hitching yourself to that to feel good about yourself.
But now he has too much of a public record. And that same old schtick sounds so incoherent from this older Trump. He let a "turn the page" generic democrat make a fool of himself. You gotta be extra pathetic and weird to support this.
All he had to do was deflect to foreign policy as much as possible. The incumbent always looks bad on foreign policy.
Funny how there's so little evidence for the Haitians eating pets in Ohio line that even the local police are willing to conclusively deny. You gotta get this guy unplugged for a few months
I was hoping trump would say something when she said dick Cheney endorsed her, something along the lines of calling him either the second worst vp of all time (behind her), or saying something about her being proud of being endorsed by a war criminal, or just something like that
It also took like 3 times of them bringing up abortion before he finally put her in a bad spot by asking if she would ban late term 6-7-8-9 month abortions, which I was hoping he would just do right away, but then the moderators quickly switched topics.
All in all trump was on his C game this debate, not very good performance. Better than the one against biden but that debate was better for him because biden short circuited on national television
