8v5 is scum favored for normal mafia but having played lots of popcorn, pls trust me that its generally balanced for popcorn
Conclusion of that reread was that people were frustrated that low activity scumplay was even more effective than usual in popcorn
So yea u can probably adjust shots to account for that
