oh yeah the sha-256 hash i put in the roleplaying is not mandatory sod post d1 was for the following text:
if mafia have tried this game (they might not because yns said he'd gameruin in scumchat), but lost because of town reactions to the special fucking retard role or the fucking retarded cop role, i want to be able to prove that the mafia, if they were skilled, would be able to anticipate their own TMI about the role situation and fake lacking knowledge of it.
that is to say, it was fully intentional that the mafia's extra knowledge of town's roles was meant to townside the setup more. the special fucking retards have negative utility in many situations, and their only true utility is in being a semi-confirmable town role (claimable and at least one town is likely to real claim it before mafia fake claim it) and in town reactions to claiming of the role.
therefore, if scum have lost because of their bad reactions to situations, that's on them. don't blame the setup, you could've played better.
i actually anticipate this setup is townsided. won't be able to tell if yns gameruins, but it is what it is. we might see.
strategic modkills like the ones wolfy was thinking about and ended up doing, i will generally punish as a host by immediately ending day.
i've put this in the game rules when i've hosted before but i forgot this time. it was either that i forgot or that i didn't want to spew the existence of legal modkilling in this game. but either way, modkilling one's own slot as a town player in a way that improves the town gamestate is not something i allow as host, so i intended to end day immediately if it happened (resulting in mafia victory). in future games i host, i'll try to remember to put that in the rules.
