Whoever manages the deli should have had her doing something else. I assure you she is just as upset at the situation as you. Nobody wants to do that. When you make that person out to be the problem and not the management that put both you and her in a bad position, it feels insensitive.

I didn't though... I didn't complain, or cause a scene, or do anything. I even smiled and said thank you, because I could tell she felt bad. I tried to make her see it wasn't a big deal. And it wasn't to me. I was just a bit frustrated, and also confused as why she had that job in the first place, so I made a random little post about it. I don't even care that she's muslim, I just mentioned that as a minor detail in my story and slowdive went autistic and started saying random OH DO YOU THINK MUSLIM HORDE IS GOING TO TAKE OVER? AND TAKE ALL THE JOBS? AND YOU'LL HAVE TO LEARN SUDANESE? YOU KNOW IMMIGRANTS ACTUALLY NEED J O B S! TO LIVE! IS THAT OKAY WITH YOU? YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT
