I think in the old patch I won with it a lot where octarine had lifesteal and built up from those items
But actually the reason I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working in new patch I think was that the game had different tempo or something. I never figured out exactly but usually when you come back to a patch after not playing for a while there's a different balance between farming/killing/map control that is needed and this is the main reason things don't work as they used to

the map is crazy now. worth a game or two just to see how big it is and how much garbage valve shoved into it
Sand king is like the easiest hero to learn and play it's very basic dota idk why people are saying it's hard

For some reason i never got used to playing lion and sk after playing witch hunter and magmus from hon. The stun lines felt a lot skinnier
Play lion for like 50 hours it's dota bread and butter
witch hunter was by far my most played in hon maybe ill give him a shot. killing people with gun go bang was cooler than finger tho

anyways lion looks a dork compared to him and no skin aesthetics are crucial in hero choice
