i like it in theory because it spices up the game having juggernauts you can't bully but as a noob i was definitely unprepared

im just messing around and having fun tbh. i've got like 2500 hours in civ5 and i spent too much of them playing on immortal and having to play 'meta' the entire time to have a chance. following the same tech/buildings path will burn you out

i tried to watch "competitive" stellaris and it was just 50% robots and 50% devouring swarms i couldnt watch
this game will be so fire if paradox implement a more robust ground army game. i get it's not the point of the game but a little more depth than army hp, morale, and damage would go so far
yes that is its big weakness
i mean they have a pretty good track record, literally every DLC has made the game better in some big or small way, the devs have posted on reddit that they're not happy with army, its probably in the works

just spent 20 years conning the local fox-people criminal syndicate mega corp, sent them an envoy to improve relations and offered several trade deals... one that included them sharing their vision with me... much to my delight their navy was not only small but stationed as far away from me as possible..
little did they know i had a cassus belli on them the whole time from their illegal drug racket on one of my planets.
your time is up, criminal syndicate fox people. you'll be my chattel now.
now I can use my cassus belli to wage a war (that I have no intention of winning) and kidnap all of their pops to use as my slaves (ascension perk lets your bombardment stance kidnap pops) I'll let them live of course, vassalize them and take what profits I can from what's left of their company.

it sure would be a shame if their capital were to be reduced down to the bare minimum and all of their people taken as slaves...
