Who are we running with MTG

It has to be a two woman ticket or a woman VP Man President ticket to be viable for republican voters.

But I would love to see the conservative news cycle if they announced a Woman President Man VP ticket.

They already did exactly that 2x in the past 3 elections

It didn't work out so great.

The only times Trump has won he beat a woman

I consider this to be pretty misogynistic on Trump's part.

Donald Trump and Jon Jones - perfect record against women. Undefeated in the gladiatorial arena

When you start electing people just because of their last name that's how you end up with your RFK Jrs

It's me Austin I'm his VP, nah I'm not old enough or a woman just send aoc

What if I told you that the majority of politicians are such simply because they are attached to legacy political families

This ain’t something being started, it’s how it’s always been

i still voted kamala but it really pissed me off we didnt get to make our choice of nomination. thats not democracy. but yea i havent seen the whole thing but the bits and pieces ive seen hunter seems quite on point.

i think the biggest reason they lost was cuz they were like "hey white cis middle american men, we dont care about u" as if that isnt the biggest voter base. on top of all of her talking points is "im not trump" like ok cool you arent trump... wtf r u gonna do for the average citizen????

Americans so upset about no primary don’t realize that primaries are exceptional in today’s democracies. It is the norm for a political party to win a majority, and then they choose their leader within, no voting on it by the people. What happened in the Democratic Party in the summer of 2024 is standard for most democracies around the world. It is happening in Japan right now. The party is arguing over who will be leader and the people have no say. Just internal power struggles.

Primaries are a very good thing, but it isn’t exactly a crazy thing to have to pick a leader undemocratically in a strange situation.

Just because of his last name? His name could be Porky Pig and I’ll still vote for his huge cock.

it was common in america years ago to just have a party nominate without a primary, yes. but we are in the present day and that has become expected. it has become part of the system now, and the dnc ignored that part of the system.

i also dont believe it was a last minute thing. kamala being the nominee after trump debated biden was strategical. they knew biden wasnt running again but wanted him to tank the brunt of the trump attacks at the debate so kamala looked cleaner.

just like how hilary got the nominee basically handed to her because it was "her turn"

I think it was a matter of time constraints, given how little time there was to work with post Joe dropping out. Personally I don't think it matters without that decision happening far sooner, and at least for myself it wouldn't have changed much. My state is pretty late in the primary cycle and it's closed primary so I would have to change registration from independent to dem to participate.

Often the primary is over before it gets to my state, or it is simply a formality it's run at all.
