we literally played on the same team for years

we still stay in touch, he's an awesome guy
some of the most fun i've ever had gaming was this 12 player FFA custom in wc3 where you had like a dota hero kinda, it was a big wide open map with a base you could teleport to and respawned at
you could grind npcs or kill other players, and it had bosses in the corners
you picked all your own spells and all your own stats every time you levelled up, it had all the spells form wc3 and you could do so many builds
god damnit I still miss that game
and the best part was STR AGI and INT builds were all viable
you could go vamp/crit/dodge and try to grind all game and farm or you could go banish, lifes drain, mana drain, entangling roots, and firestorm
oh hi are you trying to farm let me root you in place, banish you, firestorm you and then drain your life or mana as needed

I always liked the WC3 pvp over most popular custom games, although I never played it enough to get good at it.
