We are currently in a dilemma, we lynch @BIGMATTHEW who has claimed cop and potentially lynch our own cop, or we choose to let mafia live.
I am currently seeing it as +EV to lynch bigmatt because:

I feel like the chance a player who is mafia out of the blue claims cop and accuses another town player who happens to also be the cop as unlikely because it is a very high risk, low reward type of play.

The response by bigmatt lacks the conviction I'd expect to hear from a player who is actually town. Now I admit that I am biased here because I know my own reaction if I was actually the cop wouldn't be so muted, but I also understand some people are socially disabled pizza drivers whose gift to earth is sometimes predicting the S&P direction correctly once in a blue moon therefore I am giving runway for my assessments to be grossly off point. It wouldn't surprise me. I'm fucking horrifically wrong all the time. This could certainly be one of those times.
So this leaves me at a crossroads where I have to pick between which person to believe.
I was certainly scum reading the big_ass slot earlier on. The bigmatt slot was one I hadn't been paying much attention to. My assessment of bigmatt is that he tends to be pretty passive, and detached from mafia games and reminds me of those wallflower types that you encounter in socials who doesn't make themselves visible but at the same time is listening to what everyone is saying because at one point they'll jump in and say something that proves they were there the entire time.
So from that POV, I think bigmatt is playing as town, but something like a cop claim saying that someone is red is not something you can push aside based on a hunch. That's some real shit so we're now in this zero sum situation where:
- Bigmatt is mafia and Bigass is cop
- Bigmatt is town and bigass is cop
I think #2 is a very low EV play from a mafia pov. Yes you manage to steer town to mislynch a town player for a day, but what about the next day? You're certainly going to get lynched unless you can 300IQ play a bullshit excuse while still dealing with the real cop in the game.
So for that reason, I am going to conclude in my drunken stupor that @BIGMATTHEW is mafia and therefore should die.
However...
The low EV route is something big_ass hasn't tried. Therefore, he could very well be mafia fake claiming as cop. Has he done the re tard path b efore? If not, then maybe this is the moment he tries it.

My vote changed because I think I had a similar kind of reaction to the BigA/BigM exchance as stove, but also I'm inclined to vote with uncontested cop claim by EOD.
