Scumhhunting 101: The Nyte Scumcase

Aight guys I’m back on my computer ready to go full gay. Let’s go.

I’m on post like 25 and ewiz is looking bad. I’m still at work. I’m either taking a break and coming back to work, or I’ll be doing more around 11.

After thinking about it I think I take a break and come back so when I finish up here I’ll have a couple hours of being active.

Openly talking about activity levels and being self conscious about one’s own absence from the thread is a general scumtell. Scum tend to feel more obligated than town to play the game and make posts and give indicators as to how busy they are more often than town do.

I’m not hard sold on it but there is definite gain for this scum play. Klaze not wanting to lynch agubar here is questionable.

But as 3p: Did agubar write his open letter because he realized he claimed too early and he’ll lose if scum nk ewiz…? That essentially confirms ewiz.

I don’t have good feelings on the interactions between iaafr yns and epok. Off the top of my head I’d say iaafr and epok scum. But yns looks mega weird. Klaze I see as town bazinga town ewiz appears mostly town.

Top scum reads are Matticus and iaafr rn with a wavering epok.

First real substantive post is a longer post. The second to last section is especially scummy: general nondescript “don’t have good feelings” is a common scum crutch for the basis of generally shading in some direction between some town players. “Weird” without deeper thinking tends to be scummy as well (which she said about yns here). At this point in the game, I believe her three townreads are all correct, which is level 1 scum. Inexperienced scum tend to think their reads are good as town, so they usually throw out correct townreads more often than incorrect ones (along with the obvious fact that there arent that many non town to townread).

I’m going to have to think the scum claim through hang on. It seems viable but trying to transition into the actual 3p target … I think it’s less likely and agubar is 3p.

Which is essentially why I scumread epok, for this strange push.

This kind of style of hedging is scummy. Retrospectively using somebody else’s commentary on finding somebody weird to call them scummy is scummy. The last line is scummy.

I tend to always scumread Matticus, but I really didn’t like the tonereads I got from his posts. The interactions between he and iaafr seemed… very neutral to each other. I also do not scumread Klaze, so that affected my reads on both of them.

Possibly hedging on her partner matty to give herself an out to not vote him later if he actually gets wagoned.
