Ironically even tho the author is clearly conservatarded I believe Hogwarts is a socialist paradise. Dumbledore (who is just like me fr) didn't want to have all the power, didn't give a shit about money. The only time money really comes up is when they're in places like DIagon alley and interacting with the literal jew-inserts who I think she intended to be the most capitalistic representation
but it does make me wonder would they have accepted other "Harry's" who like didn't have nepotistic ties to the school

It is such a based take that you really only hear from like cognizant people above the age of 26 who have like read about the books or read them.
for the most part (and especially zoomers) people will refuse to acknowledge that the books were like really solid for what they were. Theres a reason they sold like hot cakes and spawned a gagillion dollar empire. very few books ever really sucked me in as hard as like harry potter did at points

I have to regretfully inform that I read them in middle school because all my friends loved them and thought they were complete dog ass (I still lowkey do) I see their appeal but all the characters pissed me off so bad

Its really interesting from the perspective of someoen who was there when the general vibe around me was always that they were considered part of the Modern Greats and probably some of the best new books (for YAs) around its time, at the time. The mood has shifted over a very long period and it just felt completely based on the fact that she was a pos when it came to like empathizing and shit lmao.
This was also way before I or anyone else knew Jk rowling was just insane and a piece of shit because a lot of people are too stupid to admit that sometimes morons make cool stuff

Yeah and it's reflective of how the writer doesn't seem to empathize with many people. I don't think that part was good. It is really hard to define but the whole property of the book was good despite these parts

I think even as a young kid (also i was like 10 when i was reading this shit) there was something obviously obtuse about Cho Chang. and visually obtuse about seeing the clear jews working in diagon alley
I simply dont fuck with Harry Potter based on the contents of the books themselves but it pisses me off when I see people pretending that they hate them or think they are bad or something now when I know damn well I saw them sucking rowlings dick when they were younger because that was the popular thing to do

Yeah it's a random pet peeve but peers of my age who shit on the books and haven't read a single page of them or know anything beyond Her non-PC ness feel like massive virtue signalling dumbasses. You can shit on the book and there are plenty of ways to do it but god forbid you ask them why it's bad and they tell you anything besides 'i just think its bad' 'i just think its not good' 'i dont know, i just think she sucks'

I personally just couldnt stand the majority of the main characters, lots of the side characters were fine and even endearing to me but my god did both harry and hermione drive me up a fucking wall the way they both acted just made them seem like such annoying little pricks
