Guilty Gear is a love letter to heavy music and the UI always looked like that including burst meters that always looked like metal band logos.
They completely did away with that aesthetic and replaced it with... rectangles and a few tiny shadows.
Fuck being easy to read who cares. Personality is more important.

XX has had rollback since before Strive was even a game. and Xrd too for a long time.
I will attempt to like Strive again when a respectable UI arrives. It will probably last a week because why when Xrd and +R are right there.
I played Xrd with the egyptian once years ago on rollback. It is really good but not good enough for Japan to Egypt

Do it up, once in a while I hit the homie up for fightcade or old Tekken since they got emus with rollback. (Not as good as slippi but acceptable.)
