The thing you have to understand about making video games is that it is the least-useful possible application of technology. Saying "We are making a new programming language to create games with" is like saying "We are designing a new type of ladder to be able to pick funny-looking leaves off of trees with."
Even to come up with the idea requires multiple layers of bumbling idiocy - to the point where I would actually respect the leaves-ladder idea more because there is a chance of actually bringing some joy to the world.
