NewD3 - The Final D + Postgame

I think it's better tactically to just kill the jailor, kill another person in the night, and lynch a third random person the following day

This is a convoluted and risky tactic that ends up killing 1 person at best, so you take extra risk and don't progress the game

It's probably fun/entertaining though.

I can see that, Kkat said people often just kill the people that are vocal about them. With that logic killing nma n1, you wouldn't even have to lead town into pointing a finger at me.

Yea really anyone could have been lynched day 2, LBJ was also a really easy target because by day 2 the town would know he fake claimed a PR to survive d1 lynch

Unfortunately my teammate led town to lynch me and then proceeded to lose the game.

Though its hard to turn down pushing town over the threshold to axe a pr day 1 for "free" without much suspicion.

I think from the EOD1 Matty/stove came away looking scummier than me, I consistently said I'd lynch NMA whereas they waffled around a bit and then decided last minute before the lynch

Unfortunately that argument was never really relevant because when you flip me day 2 anybody going back to read those interactions can read them with the context of my role and probably town read matty there

With only one of you on that vote list, it also served as a strong case later days.

He could’ve used that as ammunition for the final day and won, I think kkat would’ve called for the why would
I bus my own teammate on day 2 after having so many targets

Fallen*

That’s a kkat specific solve but mafias a situational game anyway (despite what the nma theory crafters think)

Your own bad gameplay got you killed.

Agree. Anyone who scumread me on D1 was playing well.

That was a fun game. I actually had some good reads for a change.
By the way @Hype I had you pegged as town early. I went to Stove the first night because I was more sure about him.

Unfortunately he couldn't because he's not a good enough player.

That's my point. If you are going to bus and lead a lynch on your teammate, you should be good enough to make it an interesting game from there. Jdance's plan for an interesting mafia game was to say "i am scum and my partner is big_ass" on day 1, get me lynched on day 2, and then lose the game. In that context it's not even a bus really, it's just gameruining.

Hype played a strong game and towntold well. I was reading him town right from the start. Hope he signs the next game

I think you also played well as a town PR that can clear himself KKat, you being lower activity but having that role meant even the low activity posters had impact on the game

I was reading town from you for d1 and only became slightly unsure towards the end of d2 since you seemed very focused on info I considered potentially unreliable. Didn't end up mattering as I was dead before it could have posed a problem for town.

this whole like "nyte casts a wide net" and "would have sussed big ass out d2"

and "breadcrumbed neighbor"

do you guys even read, man

New indecipherable Nyte post just dropped

I can't help with the last bit, but the first 2 are mine and as you know I don't read well.
It wasn't meant as a dis but since on d2 I skimmed back through d1 you had voiced suspicion on a few people, and ultimately voted for me. It was not meant to be a dis, and your true read could've been different than posted and were just gauging peoples reaction to being called sus. Though you didn't vote for him big_ass was an early peg for you so I think if you were alive d2 that would've had a chance to get fleshed out. I named 4 people on day 2 and 2 of them were mafia, but I don't take that to mean much about my read of the game and I think even mentioned that I couldn't 100% rule out those not named.

Had mafia been Kkat and myself, do you feel you would be able to claim you solved it day 1?

  1. (good) town does not vote against an unchallenged jailor claim.

  2. a (good) vt does not counter vote on a jailor for pushing them
