Back in poe1 beta we were playing spell totem builds, plopping them in doorways, and running the fuck away. 2 isn't more claustrophobic and clunky than that iteration of the game, just the current one.
I think they're trying to capture more of the feeling of the pre-ascendancy first game where endgame was farming Piety and they could still kill you if in max gear if you start snoozing
Didn't like wasd, not using it as of now. I don't think it's for careful m+kb play, it's a carry over from the native controller support and for when a gamers RSI flares up
Tailwind feels good
My gear is dog shit (no movespeed boots even xd)
Enemies being able to leap slam behind me as a pack to instantly surround me In narrow corridors when we don’t have any real movement skills sucks
Either more currency needs to drop or more rares need to drop
Beating bosses feels good
Prob will beat a3 and then reroll or stop playing for a bit
Having a lot of fun
bruh i can't beat geonor and i'm legitimately mad about it
i have to farm for better gear and i think that's fucking stupid. i just end up going like 30 minutes (or longer) against that fucking wolf pack monologue to inevitably end up dying without flask charges. simply do not do enough damage.
I have a feeling in this game based on the vibes you can't expect to be doing reasonable damage with phys weapon builds through the campaign without having leveling gear already on hand to pass down. PoE was like this before some buffs, Diablo 2 is like this. There also seems to be a huge variety in the power level among spells. I'm seeing the game launching with less spells, not more.
