POLITICS MEGA-thread 2025-2026 edition

You’re a reddit shareholder.

Jones goes full neocon for daddy.

Excuse me? I've worked for every dollar I have. I don't believe in shares.

Your pension plan has half their assets in reddit shares.

Look what you made me do. Just took the grumpiest dump of all time

I’m not a neoconservative – I’m just staunchly against nuclear proliferation.

My what?

I just looked up the largest reddit shareholder and it’s you.

Try turning your monitor on to look that up

It is just as likely that countries decide they need nukes even more now to deter rogue states like the US and Israel. A better nuclear proliferation would have been a new jcpoa

No actually blowing Iran to smithereens is the best way to guarantee they don’t acquire a nuclear weapon and we’ve set a hardline that if you try to acquire a nuclear weapon you’re going to be blown to smithereens.

Idk it seems like more countries are interested in getting nukes than ever. Russia, the US, and Israel all to blame.

My coworker just asked me to make a game for kids within the next 20 minutes. But my mind is full of nukes

It takes like 10 years to develop a nuclear weapon and a specific platform to deliver it. It’s not happening.

Was the Trump admin full of shit when they said they obliterated Iran's capabilities last year then

Oh yeah, 100%. The nuclear facilities are so deep underground that you’d have to land multiple bunker buster bombs right on top of each other to even do anything.

They’re not even targeting these places with bombs right now; someone is going to have to insert special forces on the ground and blow them up that way at some point.

So it aint over and we didn't win yet.

If I was a country I would try to get even the most Temu nukes right now

Pretty cool of us to not give Japan a heads up beforehand

The party in power here is very nuke thirsty. Very difficult to sell that to the voters though.
