Because on almost every political belief western right wingers claim to care most about, fundamentalist muslims agree. God in schools, nuclear family and having tons of kids, pro life, anti-lgbt, anti secularism. That should be enough for you to chew on.
Whenever I hear a Christian nationalist describe what they want to achieve politically, they describe sharia law.

I think besides immigration and Israel, the venn diagram is a circle.
So it is silly to think, as the dumb political cartoon suggests, that immigration of a bunch of social conservatives is going to ruin what conservatives view as their western civilization.
There is always overlap between religions you pointing out a few areas of overlap does not validate your statement that the two groups believe in the same things.
For example they dramatically differ when it comes to individual rights and family/marriage structures.
You should correct your statement to something like 'conservative CHRISTIANS (not political conservatives as I said before) and fundamentalist islamists share some overlap in values like they both believe in God, they both believe religion should be a part of education, etc'
And I won't have a problem with it. The statement you made before is just straight up wrong and your argument doesn't prove it is correct.
