Idk it's not without precedence but it's also a bad idea for several reasons one being that trump has committed war crimes like our other presidents, so a peace prize is a joke. There are a lot of people whose activism and dangerous work has made peace possible.
Then again, we all know what won the first nobel prize so it is fitting

It's part of a large power structure which is propped up by "science" and "diversity" and "liberalism", democracy, and our bombs and bullets. It's one small tentacle of the western capitalist power hegemony which is killing us.
Capital and who controls it is the most important factor, if you ever come to a question for the motives of an org or person with power, just ask how does this help prop up US imperialism or economic interests and you'll find something.
