POLITICS MEGA-thread 2025-2026 edition

it got resolved because i decided not to honor the wishes of a raging asshole, anymore. (there’s a trend here). instead of giving plenty(more) opportunities for people to do the right thing, i just confronted it publicly.

i mean, that’s not the ONLY reason, but it was the change or choice that i made.

as some people have so astutely pointed out - i’ve had all the info for years and years, and could have easily directly shared with any number of people. instigating me on this site, and trying to control things i can or can’t do in a retaliatory fashion is just fucking weird, if you’re concerned with info being “shared” by me.

I'm busy orchestrating the next mafia grief sorry.
I got nothing to do with this forum drama - I'm just part of le epic troll troupe. It's all just an act hahaha just pretending you know me the pretender.

i appreciate your support in the matter

She literally dedicated the prize to Trump hours after getting it.

They're too libtarded to give it to Trump so they gave it to whoever the CIA wanted in compromise.

Yum private interests but it is messier than I thought like slowdive said

Good for them. Good for him. Hopefully this carrot inspires him to chase more

Trump not only has a preliminary Gaza deal done (which is the exact same as the one the Biden administration had in 2024 but they sucked so badly they wouldn't take it), but Kushner orchestrated the Abraham accords in 2020 to facilitate diplomatic renormalization of the region with Israel.

Given that Trump was sending morons to the Iran deal talks and then Israel went and assassinated their Iranian counterparts, fake bombing Iran's nuclear facilities is an acceptsble outcome.

We may not see eye to eye but I appreciate the keen insight you share Toprak. Full earnest

The Putin stuff was fine but sadly ultimately failed because the battlefield situation in Ukraine is too far gone.

And he will majorly lose points for NATO divestment which is a slight negative and could have been handled better.

I’m sorry the other stuff you said sounded reasonable but Putin is real hard to budge on in terms of actual control Trump ever had

When did we have power if we had it multiple times in recent memory when was it gained or lost

I still fully believe that Putin was never gonna negotiate and wanted to decline it on a public stage

It's toprak season.

Like fine top rak wine from the cellar.

Had a major shot of ending in 2022 but Ukraine's early military success effectively pushed the west to scuttle anything but escalation.

There was a completely failed and disastrous counteroffensive summer 2023? that was the result of that thinking.

People here really think if the iron dome vanished that it would be good for the countries around Israel. Oh brother...

I have a few major theories as to why the foreign policy/pentagon of Biden sucked so badly.

  1. DEI (most likely culprit)
  2. Senile President (they just gave up in 24)
  3. Afghanistan withdrawal deaths and videos of people falling off of cargo planes.

Idc bidung anymore absolutely none of us support him, and this 2025 plan was supposed to fix things like these according to Your People

I would 100% believe that Trump sent terrible negotiators and the conspiracist in me (not Democrat) wants to wonder if that was on purpose. But probably more likely just another bad appointment m

The Middle East is fixed. If this ends the Yemenis won't be firing on every vessel in the Red Sea anymore.

When we tried to stop them we shot out own plane down btw.
