What's even funnier to me is that juries decisions have to be unaminous -- i.e. if there's significant ethnic favoritism for one group than it's more likely they aren't going to be convicted.
No, the point is that it is inherently flawed to expect rationale from 12 random people who passed the minimum filter and are paid 15 an hour or whatever to be there to actually do the objectively correct thing always

I don't know but I do know that in the right form, pancakes are always better than waffles.
If anything, with juries, ethnic favoritism would cause MORE people to get off because of things have to be unanimous.

They abolished jury trials in Singapore not because of racism, but because of ethnic favoritism that ended up in no one being able to be convicted.

If there was massive racism in the court system and all races were equally racist you'd see a less conviction rate for everyone.
I donât disagree. It doesnât contradict what I said either. Itâs flawed. Itâs the surface you look at when you look at incarceration rates and trial rates, but also they are flawed when your average black person has far from average honky person privileges, and privileges meaning resources more so than what you think
Is your point that honky people are fair but minorities just protect their own?
