unfortunately my mate was not into squatch they didnt like how the short hop for the jump in feels
I don't love the flow of short hopping into combos either but some things we grind out for the love of the game.
Kind of hated every special-move-button-only fighter I've tried recently. Let me do my little moves on my special little controller.
Tokon was a good mix. Can do all your little moves and then easy inputs for supers
I dont like one button special games either but 2xko's charged buttons and how involved tagging is in all the sequences makes it enjoyable regardless. Scratches the itch for execution satisfaction for now.
It is basically the DNF solution but idk I wish they would come up with a more elegant solution.
I think we should stop trying to make everyone like fighting games that doesn't like core elements of it. It is okay if everyone doesn't want to play. I understand companies wont ever have this mindset but when players don't it is so dumb.
I'm fine with Tokon including all that for accessibility, the auto combos aren't gonna be shit once we get to lab. Just LET ME do my MOVES
I'm cooked cause i mostly play tekken(poorly), and in 2d play charge chars. Though even with the "dumbed down" smash bros esque specials this game as of right now has some insane execution for optimals. Very sauced combo possibilities.
it will likely end up more mahvel than tokon if that makes sense.
