it is really that simple: playing 200 games of dota for zero reason other than to "waste time" is just grubbing.
That's not the reason, the reason is that it's recreation and enjoyable to play Dota with my friend Chris. It's something we've done for the last 10 years, tradition - you play Dota yourself from time to time.
What else are we going to do with that 20% extra? It's not like it's taking up our whole lives, it's not even close.
Do you want us to just talk about how masculine and based we are instead? Do you want Chris to spend his weekend working on a hypothetical Ray Tracer for the DoD - or maybe he should go to work 10 hours a day instead of eight?
