You don’t understand this whatsoever. He can’t fight for you when the supreme court decides what you did isn’t protected by the 1st or the 4th amendment. If talking back to a cop (which could be as much as saying, “no, you can’t search me without a warrant” or “no I won’t answer questions until my lawyer is present”) functions as probable cause, almost all of our legal protections will have been eroded

Lmao, when refusing a search amounts to probable cause for a search, any cop can just come up and ask to search your house and it’s legal for them to do so if you allow it or disallow it. It completely neuters the 4th amendment
