obviously but i don't think youre appreciating the finer point that lynching a VT is bad for scum. Scum has three days (if both survive) to hit a chosen or they lose. Lyncghing a VT is good for town bc it is not a chosen.
It’s still a normal game of mafia if they kill but one Chosen. They have time, so why paint themselves as obvious targets on D1?
I guess its all wifom to some degree if i'm picking up what you're putting down. Scum would have much preffered LBJ to be chosen, all things equal.
Do you not see the problem for creating a the justification of “it’s good to vote out VTs”? No, it’s not. You are not towny for voting out VTs, sorry.

its safest to vote out scum, I agree. But it is still a win condition for town to not lose chosen as early as EOD day 3. So mafia are incentivized to push in weird ways for the chosen, which they know. So if a VT dies it may be the case (no certainty) that they did not vote for them in hopes of voting out a chosen instead.
- The Mafia are told who was Chosen, but the Chosen are not.
- As long as both Chosen Townies are alive, neither can be Night-killed and cannot be endgamed (ie; 1 or 2 Mafia vs. 2 Chosen is a town win).

I’ve had the same thoughts as him a few times this game, which is how I read him as town a couple games ago when he was town. He also voted for luckyartist which makes him extra town.
Magicmagininja agrees with me which makes him town. Unfortunately this is looking like a repeat of the game when mafia was in you/Nyte/SOPHIE and we have to figure out which psychopath it is.
