This will be a setup where everyone knows the mechanics from the start and no strange stuff happens during the game - either from the players or from the host.
Basic rules will be enforced such that the game is not ruined. If people try to intentionally grief (such as reacting on the thread while dead to reveal the mafia) they will receive a timeout.
There is a "surprise mechanic" (something creative/different) but instead of surprising you with it, I will explain it in full in the opening post. The game will play out, almost entirely, as a normal mafia game with typical day/night cycles, mafia roles etc.
