So in my personal opinion we actually improve our random chances by allowing people to choose from the pool of valid targets
For example allowing matty to say he prefers jdance and letting osiris go along with it
However Osiris has already done the offer so we go with it. U can't retract osiris

Thing is from a VT's perspective you are confirmed not mafia so it is not optimal to offer to shoot yourself
Of the random targets, I'd rank them from most scummy to least scummy like so:
1.) Jdance or Osiris (both have reasons to be scum but no one cares about reads anymore)
2.) Matticus (I'm medium scummy, I should be killed off soon)
3.) JCrispy (good play so far, well done)
You'll be very happy to learn one of your preferred targets is offering to shoot himself with you
