I think this would fit under "run down and boring". It's quite funny how your friend has such a poor grasp of english that he utilizes rhetoric in such a way.
"I can only assume what is being said in your echo chamber, but it's obvious that you are getting false validation from TopRak."
No assumptions here - you posted the log yourself.
I understand, he makes you feel good about yourself and the world around you - he fulfills your narcissistic and hedonistic desires.
- TeamSpeak the second TopRAK leaves.
Ironic considering he's played Elden Ring far more than I have - and also bought it for full price on steam.
If you didn't know, Joseph Anderson and I both expressed a lot of criticism on Elden Ring and it's quality. It's not a very good game and you going back to this only shows how you are just running on empty at this point.
that guy said it was very good
the part that i caught at the beginning was him saying it wasn't truly replayable and i don't know how valid of a critcism that is (although it seems to align with what notjones and his criticism of narratives)
No, he explicity says in the first few minutes that the game sucks and has more flaws than any other From game.
Literally uses the word "sucks" and goes into a lot of detail about the flaws later on.
Not even Joseph anderson mentioned "narratives" in Elden Ring. a 2 hour video and he didn't mention it once.
Nobody cares, you're making fun of people that don't exist lol.
i just thought there's some level of parallel between the idea Joseph shared that you can't re-experience the game for the first time again and my perspective of the idea that a proper narrative isn't one you can re-experience either
No he mostly means the experience of learning the map and the route. Narratives generally can be re-experienced in my opinion though, but that's a different story.
I'm sure Joseph was referring to the static distribution of items and bosses
"We should unban TopRAK".
