I agree. You should roll a conditional assassin who becomes the assassin after the assassin dies if the 1st assassin dies in the first 2 days and misses the king.
We just want to hunt mafia the rules and who wins and stuff doesn't matter

Assassin in the Palace V2 - Another assassin May or May Not enter the Palace on the death of the first Assassin depending on whether the host thinks the game should keep going.

This is fine btw as at least 2 of the town are guaranteed to be afk or dead weight. Which makes it a 6 player game = perfectly balanced.
Just make sure the roll for assassin or king isn't one of the lame afk players. We are good to go
