It says they get one action per night and the kill is an action
That means they have to skip the kill to do any of those actions
In a game where town already has enough kill power to mechanically hit scum (with worst possible reads/luck) even if they kill every night
Would you skip 2 nights of scum kills to acquire and use a scum role cop ability? If so, you may be ■■■■■■■■ .
In fact, I've completely solved this game. The more I think about it, the better it gets.
Anybody not on board with this plan is either scum or gamethrowing.
If scum is able to remove the investigative powers in this game, they will not have to kill anyone. Town will just eat itself.

Because scum takes 2 nights to remove and use 1 investigative PR (skipping night kills each night)
And during all nights you still have doc, watcher/cop
It's basically a mafia game without any night kills and you're saying you don't think town can win it
Alternatively, we just lynch someone, and if they claim a role which exists they can be cc’d, then we get the 1 town for 1 pr. What benefit does town get from mass claiming? I really don’t understand.

I do think what you suggested is solid, except you can consider outing cop from the start (put doc and watcher on cop N1, scum has to take a 50% watcher check and skip a kill to interfere with the ability, it's +EV for town)
I also think the way you conducted this conversation is fairly scummy

I basically solved and you said town can't win that (the auto mechanical solve - it's auto win for town, you don't even have to read. Mathematically solved)
