imagine a world nyte. just like for one brief minute okay.
imagine a world where instead of alienating and attacking everyone in that sexism thread you instead spoke to people like they too are humans. like they too are your equal and not just some idiot who's below you.
several people messaged me that day who were on your side in terms of the sexism had discussions with me saying that if you weren't being rude and alienating people them perhaps you'd have more allies and the topic wouldve been far more productive.

i would agree. but i believe we probably have different ideas about what is and isn't dismissive. specifically from my standpoint as a woman, and yours as a man.
Not being able to read a thread title that is everywhere is a pretty stock standard symptom of cognitive decline

This is getting so absurd lmao. Ill just touch a few points from my perspective.
On the whole topic of people being sexist towards Nyte - I think its undeniable there were instances of sexism on the website, but from the majority of what I read, whenever anyone disagrees with Nyte, she would often take it as its because she is a woman, which is not the case. The mafia example was very clear - in my first game I got super frustrated with her but it was because of what she was saying, nothing to do with gender. The next game I didn't read a massive ass post she posted because I tend to skip over big posts in general, and there were implications made by her that we dismissed the post because she is female. Later I got called sexist because I made a post about NADota in general, and how its changed into being politically correct. Why was it sexist? Because I happened to make it during a discussion on sexism? The intention was to tackle the overall dynamic that I saw that website has been taking, but nah I was instantly called sexist for it. Anyways from how I see it, many people here are upset with the way you talk to them and are talking back simply. I don't think its because of your gender.
Speaking of Kyle, I don't think any accusations that he closed the thread because he is sexist are valid. He's presented an argument which makes sense (I'm not saying it was the correct way to go around, but I don't think its been done because he is trying to silence someones voice). Had it been any other topic that circulates this kind of backlash, he would have closed it as well - aka he was basing it off of reports and flaming, rather than the topic at hand. He also got a massive numbers of attacks at him because of this, and people should have been banned who didn't get banned. That being said, I don't think he is acting maturely right now.
Lastly at LBJ, dude is just an asshole going around and harassing people/demeaning what they say. One of the most toxic people on the website.
All ill say, respect goes a long way. There will be people who will disagree with opinions - its good to listen to them and try to understand where they are coming from. I think most people here who do try and conduct a discussion, are trying to understand one another and are open to change. A lot of you just seem closed minded and when you don't like at what is being said, you just begin flaming and harassing the other party. Anyways i'm probably guilty of the same thing at times, but it wouldn't hurt to reflect on our own actions at times.

Let it also be noted that i've closed threads for the same reasons. Such as a numeta thread that had an insane amount of toxicity that was closed for that very reason.
