being pragmatic doesn’t mean you “don’t believe in anything”
You're in the social media trap of believing that acting antithetical to an ideology is an ideology in itself
Remember when Biden waited 3 weeks to make a statement about COVID and when he finally did he told his supporters to not panic and go vote in his primary elections anyways? And the DNC pressured the state parties to not delay their primaries or they'd lose their DNC funding? And they did so all the way through mid-April?
no you fucking moron I have a pretty strong set of beliefs
GET HIM OUT isn't a fucking solution you nitwit
SO RUN FOR OFFICE
OH WAIT YOU'RE A FUCKING HOCKEY STICK
I volunteer for the party I support
what the fuck are you talking about lmao
No, you're acting like he'll actually make substantial changes. He won't, and his policy on the judiciary guarantees Democrats can't make any meaningful policy changes and major progress will be undone for 40 fucking years
how
Whatever dude get your journalism degree and write buzzfeed articles about the president's fake tan keep being the intellectual hindrance to progress who cares
are you okay?
Better than most
not even substantial changes, just maybe moving slightly in the right direction as opposed to Trump which is basicslly a freefall into insanity
Do you understand how the American judiciary works? Trump filled the majority of trial and appellate positions with extremely young, extremely conservative justices. The judiciary can undo previous laws and regulations, prevent new laws and regulations from having substantial impacts, and essentially create their own legislation
This does fucking nothing. Care to explain how 4 more years of shit is worse than 40?
yeah, and how does Biden getting elected set things back 40 years? you have no idea who he’d appoint
whereas Trump is already appointing religious nutjobs and will continue to do so
this is just a dumb hyperbolic fallacy, it’s 4 years vs 4 years
Because his appointments won't be enough to change the composition of the judiciary with the amount of seats Trump has filled with extremely young people. He has to expand the number of seats at all appellate levels, but he said he refuses to.
