Trump vs Harris debate September 10

I suppose this is true. If you talk to anyone over 35 they all think he was a massive joke. Meanwhile millenials and zoomers think he was the savior

It's kinda funny actually. He successfully convinced young people, but not old people, to almost universally support a massive money transfer from young people to old people (medicare for all)

Now that I think of it he was probably the first candidate to astroturf on reddit too.

Not that I'd ever talk to anyone over 35. I'm just saying if you did

Nyte is 40.

Sorry bud, you're "talking" to a 36 year old right now

As long as Trump continually beats a drum of "we're going to murder every illegal immigrant" he will win -- any deviation from that opens up the chance of losing.

This will be my last communication on this website with either Nyte or Hubert.

The one issue that wins no matter what; it's absolutely insane how well this plays.

Anybody that thinks a bloke that made a living in politics on the national stage as an independent that isn't funded by dark money is "a massive joke" is crafting their views on people entirely out of personal biases. Not that I'd expect anything less from an over 40 coping with their fleeting mortality.

Thing is the illegal immigrant angle wins him more "racist points" which ruins his chances with the "brown base" that kamala is working so hard to court

He's not a joke. He's useless. Not the same thing.

No, the "brown base" absolutely hates these people.

I think Trump wins not by going anti-immigrant but making it about the border crisis. I think there is a big difference. Talk too much about bad immigrants and the liberals will be able to effectively campaign against vitriol for immigrants. But make it all about a crisis at the border, like it's just a big impending doom without explicitly saying it's because of the people crossing the border, and now you force the Dems to pretend to be tough on the border or just fold on it. Either way they lose that.

My boss straight up said to me today "America is not ready for a brown president"

I was like What about Obama. Literally a few years ago

I don't remember what was the response

And everybody clapped

That's a tale as old as time too. Even Cesar Chavez was very anti-illegal immigrant, saying they break strikes and harm the people already the US' cause. He even financially supported a private border patrol operation.

How about the decay of cities

I actually dont know many people who care about the border. Ofc I live in the coastal elite northeast etc

But decay of cities is visible to everybody, every day. Overwhelmed support systems dealing with illegal immigrants and fent abusers. Public transit falling apart

Say you are going to bring just 1 percent of the many trillions spent on overseas nonsense back to work on issues at home and you have an instant winner.

All you have to do is play the fucking videos of the High Schools being shut down because it was housing illegal immigrants. You just play that over and over and scream about mass deportations.

How about "Why did we send billions in aid to Ukraine instead of billions in aid to Detroit"

Yeah that's probably effective for campaigning too. If they just make it about problems that don't get personal and appear to attack people, the Dems can't use that against them. Talk about the decay of cities and all the drugs on the street, but don't be like "ew homeless people". That difference is what will win over battlegrounds.
