Word on the street is that this specific tweet is the one that inspired him to do it
The LindyMan really is an inspiration to midwits everywhere
youre a midwit
Post your goodreads we'll see whose a midwit
Non-midwit take
Unfortunate that he couldn't apply the same reasoning to healthcare. You may as well shoot Debbie Wasserman-Schulz or whatever her name is. A series of people who are individually cogs in a system have unintentionally conspired to keep you in pain. That United does it better than anyone else isn't truly an indictment of Brian Thompson but of the private healthcare system that has evolved in the US.
Also this seems like more than 144 chars. Did he pay for twitter? The chips just keep stacking up against this guy.
In order to build a functioning socialist healthcare system you probably need to first deport all the people coming to the US illegally for handouts/fraud and then incarcerate and force treatment on the hordes of mentally ill and substance abusing people on the streets
By supporting those two sides of arguably the same coin (single payer/clean up the streets - believe in a healthy and functioning society) I simultaneously piss off/alienate all people on both sides of the aisle. This is the true tradition of the radical centrist - not fence-sitting but extremist horseshoe theory positions. Believe in candidates on both sides who want to reform & rebuild (but not burn down) failing institutions. And believe in the deep potential for evil in human nature and collective human inaction but also believe no man deserves to be shot in the street like a dog.
In the same way The System fucked up Luigi Mansion's back and consigned him to a life of constant pain, The System also shot Brian Thompson (in the back btw) and left him to bleed out in the streets of New York. They are both victims here of an ailing social system and of the contemporary failure of our institutions (in this case, the federal government and election process) to do anything about it.
you have literally posted you buy self help books to put on your bookshelf for others to see
As a joke. You don't understand irony - probably an autism thing.
it's a joke -- I'm a f*G
Luigi Mangione fucked up his back -- he shouldnt have been fucking surfing in Hawaii
Lee Kwan Yew succeeded in this in Singapore. I think I'll look to buy his book and put it on my bookshelf.
Mossadegh - another example. Continually annoyed people on both sides of the aisle by being extremist in whichever direction was needed in order to move his society forward
LKY probably the better role model to look up to because he successfully evaded the corruption and regime change both pushed by the CIA. And presumably doesn't allow crazy homeless people in the street which is my main day-to-day political issue (as a person who actually lives in a city)
Wrong world view. We should all be surfing in Hawaii or equivalent - if you are not, you are not living a full life and will be sent to the camps along with all the other mentally ill, incompetent, substance abusers etc
surfers are absolutely disgusting. people get fooled because they get tanned but if you go far up north enough you can see what these people actually are without constant sun damage
the women I saw on the beach in BC "surfing" were some of the most disgusting people I have ever seen. eating at a restaraunt was just unnerving because of how gross they were
Can you go on goodreads and tell me which of LKY's memoirs the public thinks is best to read
al salam aleykum bruther
I kind of want to read From Third World to First but it seems like you need to read his earlier one (A Singapore Story) first
