Furthermore the guy clearly grew up in a high ego household. As youve previously mentioned, he is unable to ever admit he is wrong.
Now that he is wrong he will just be quiet because saying "i was wrong" is a literal impossibility to him, as if being wrong is some bad thing.
More than likely he will just pivot to battles he thinks he can win and forever deny that he was wrong, or say it wont matter that he was wrong, or that he was more right than wrong, or someone else was wrong even worse
