Civilian Palestinians are neither "Sufi" or "Terrorist", low class Arab peoples like them don't really know anything about Islam other than the word of mouth ruleset.
Much like poor/rural Egypt, Palestine is a portal to the 1800s. There's absolutely nothing to them, they have no lives or hobbies because they don't know anything, that's what that lady meant by "authentic lives", their lives are very authentic because they don't do anything.
They just eat and sleep, I cannot explain it without being trite or cliched or sounding offensive, but they really do lead an unfathomably primitive lifestyle for 21st century standards - it's only one step away from African Jungle Tribes. I say this with certainty because I live in very close proximity to these communities and have interacted with them many many times.
It would take uniroincally centuries to turn Gaza and its people into something akin to modern Cairo, Alexandria or even Asyut. That's how far behind they are.
Islam to these people is really the only goal in life because they know nothing else - none of them have any interests in anything outside of Islam, it's an all encompassing set of laws that define your whole life.
I honestly don't know of any other religion or ideology exists that can produce people like this, it's impressive really. Definitely not Christianity.
It's not their fault - they were born as geopolitical cattle with essentially no free will or sentience.
So naturally when asked whether or not they support Hamas or the war, they will say Yes because saying anything else is against Islam fundamentally.
That makes them Terrorists in some sense, but it's not by choice. It's faith in its truest sense.
I've been in inhouse with Marski and Ch**s so sorry if I took a while to respond - Not sure if any of the above is much of a revelation but it really is how these people live their lives and there's no denying it.
