yea you are right in that i don't think this is going to fundamentally change the investing strategy of buying s&p500 etfs and sitting on it for 15+ years, even if you think trump is crashing this economy with no survivors then there will be another president in 4 years.

its easy, you can do it for probably less than 50k
i know a married couple doing it now, i think they said it was like 15k, they said they would do it first and let me know how it went. they just flew out to portugal like a week or two ago to have a meeting at the consulate. theres some process to it and it takes like a year or two to go from green card to citizenship but its not hard and doesn't cost that much
you wont actually do that though
