It's completely insane to ban someone for 2 MONTHS over a personal squabble
Hype hasn't broken any rules in the situation he's just personally annoying to have around for Nyte (who herself is annoying for a lot of people)
And nobody has been banned for 2 months for something like this ever, it's just mod abuse.
If you are going to have unintelligent and incompetent mods you have to either be around to undo whatever dumb shit they do or have someone around to do it for you.
FYI when Nyte first came back to the site (after whatever her weird hiatus was about) she followed me around harassing me for months and I never once tried to get her banned. I just considered it part of posting on NADota
