I've read books about murderers and ceos running companies and about a man living in a city on the back of a turtle. That doesn't mean I am the type of person who would live in a city on the back of a turtle.
Maybe then I am the perfect audience for it. You need to have growth mindset
unfortunately, while your words hold deep truth - it is malaligned with the perspective you have with regards to it. the change in oneself is not something that is measured by the implied hard work and dedication towards becoming "successful". it is a deeply personal conscious development that can easily be missed or messed up - one that is more second nature to those who grew up in material wealth (security of resources as well as those who were raised around good educational development in-home and out)
bootstraps are fake - but understanding onesself to the point of reshaping conscious thought and distinguishing "reality" from projected social reality of the "material" world - those straps are real, and can translate to success in the material world. there is evidence of will to manifest in materialism. but most people aren't going to know what the hell that means - and the people (like you) who are raised entitled, simply aren't even conscious of the fact that their mental conviction can help change the forces of the world around them. thus manifest success. but they DO process it as a means to manifest success through their "hard work" (not quite true)
so, while you're wrong, you're also not-wrong.
I think 1) That you have no evidence of an ability to change & improve yourself and thus can't pontificate on the philosophy behind it - it is, as jdance said, like a fat woman writing a book on how to become a professional footballer
and 2) That you reduce everything into a conversation about material wealth (and then fall back on it as a convenient excuse for your lack of growth) when I have, this whole time, been talking instead about personal wealth.
Jdance, surprisingly, does have evidence of a personal ability to grow. He just started so far behind everybody else and he has some specific areas that he still needs to focus very hard and grow
and what it does mean, at the end of the day, is that you are simply not willing to help or be of service to others. which is why you understand more unconsciously the power of manifest (enjoy the benefits of that privileged life) and you consciously can't grasp what i'm talking about or why other people fucking matter so much in the grand scheme.
Alightsoul the exact person who has rich parents that pay for everything but still insist to his friends that he is the sole payer for things in his life and that his success is exclusively due to his own hard work
You don't know me. That's the thing.
Same for you.
Whats up with nepo babies being unable to understand their advantages
The truth is that every time I dance in Boston I am showing evidence of my willingness to "help or be of service to others" in that there is nobody left in boston at my level and even my attendance at a practice or social event is the sort of thing that in a circumstance where I wasn't doing it out of "willingness to help others" would actually be paid
i just need you to break this down for me. since this isn't about material wealth (or is it) but jdance has grown and i checks notes haven't?
i am really going to enjoy this
LMFAO
jesus christ i submit that this is a joke and its a horrifically bad one that should in fact be of such bad jugement that you classify as stupidly selfish just for making it.
Yeah no shit moron all murs had to do was give me a job. I have consistently been great at everything i put my mind to and will continue to do so. I never had any second doubts about my competencies as a person.
Heres the thing in this situation. I am correct about you and you are incorrect about me. You are blind and i am seeing
Yes let's break it down. Jdance started out as a ■■■■■■ with no employable skills who spent all day playing POE or WOW or whatever. He was having sex with 14 year olds and his closest friend was a heroin addict junkie who drug raped his girlfriend
He spent years working on math, classes, other employable skills - which is nothing to scoff at. He showed great leadership skill and technical proficiency at his pizza delivery job and moved up the ranks to Assistant Manager.
And he has improved as a poster from a stream-of-consciousness pure thoughtspam poster to a politics arguer. That is a big gap.
You, on the other hand, are still a horse poster and bad mafia player. You are still upset about things from years ago. And you still pontificate at great length and with many big words and it is very challenging to read.
You could never be as good as me at my role as pizza store manager. The average time employed for our 32 employees is 4 years
You dont have the social skills nor do you have the competencies with maps or directions.
go donate your time to people you wouldn't dare sleep with, and then possibly you could submit it as a willing service - but really, you said dance isn't a privilege. it is. so try something you do in service somewhere somehow else - unless you go provide your dancing services to immigrants who have no access to dancing lessons, and could be provided introductory classes and experiences to a dance type they are unfamiliar with. maybe men, mostly, too?
Yeah this is what I mean that you don't know me. All of those things are pretty good descriptions of the people who I dance with
