you’re not really engaging with his argument tho, and the strategy he is advocating is actually discussed at the bottom of the setup’s wiki page. like i pointed out in my earlier post tracker can be a gamewinner but that’s based on pure chance vs. putting town in a better position which i think 2 d1 outed town and a verification of the setup would achieve.

Read it again. The strategy is that tracker only claims if BP does not claim, because then he knows a there is a doc that can protect him.

nma’s argument still makes sense to me. this game is probably going to be decided d3. there are only two mafia. if his claim is true and our other PR is a tracker then it is a low % that his night ability will bear fruit before the game ends. if mafia kills the outed tracker it doesn’t benefit them all that much compared to killing a VT (especially if it’s a townie making a significant impact) but could lose them the game if he gets lucky. now they have to make a choice. we get 2 confirmed town d1. it limits options for mafia and distractions for town which favors town.
