I spend too much time on youtube watching cat shorts, basketball news, and documentaries/news.
Guilty pleasure might be like MTG or other TCG playthroughs, I have steamdeck games and I like to watch pro streamers kill it on the games I play so I can get some new ideas on things to try when I get bored.
MTG is such a shit game but I keep dumping money into it for no reason, just keep playing drafts and getting land flooded or land screwed like every 5-6 games, like so many games now I feel like I win because I got lucky and my opponent got less lucky, or games I lose, I got unlucky and my opponent got less unlucky because of how much the land RNG plays a role in determining the winner of the game esp with all of the power creep they keep adding, if you fall behind a little bit on tempo, you're just cooked in limited, like miss a 1-2 drop and your opponent went first and hit their 1-2 drop, well, guess I'll just fucking lose then.

I played mtg again on arena when dominarĂa reborn or whatever came out. There was that sphinx that fact or fictioned when it dealt combat damage if you had domain, and it was glitched so people on mobile couldnât separate the cards into piles. I was just drawing 5 cards every attack phase until I got mythic. Good times.
I realized I get bored with digital versions though.
The thing I love about digital is how fast you can play your games. I can complete a draft and do all of my games within an 1-2 hours... some days I will play like 5-6 drafts back to back in a single day, but if you play paper on like a FNM day at locals you get 1 game once a week and the skill level is low and a lot of guys tend to drag their feet, are sometimes very rude, and play extremely slow so the game draws because they want to split the prize pool versus take the L.
I play for fun, don't care about the cards, they're all just sitting in a box collecting dust, honestly should just donate them because I am too lazy to sort through and try to sell the mythics/rares I've collected over the years.
I would technically be paying for the drafts and possibly even make money if I went through the trouble to list and sell everything, but it's not worth it. It's really not. That's definitely a downside of MTGA is that you basically get a digital collection which is worthless, but I still like to occasionally fuck around and build some stupid brews when I get an idea playing limited, only to get my ass totally destroyed when I try to take it to ranked LMAO.
However, there are occasions I do make some nice brews, I actually once made a really fucking good izzet deck and mono blue/mono red tempo decks which I took all the way to like top 1000 in mythic a few times, but yea, that's obviously still trash tier, I'd say like just slightly more difficult than getting to like hearthstone top 500 ranked in legend but equally as worthless in skill/value because you're still never gonna make it to a pro tour or anything, like being 6k MMR at dota, is like, yea you're good but you're still trash lul.
I really like handling cards. Tactile things make me happy. It might be a mental illness.
