the romans, mongols, and prussians/germans were always fast to adopt and adapt optimal tactics. if you're talking about specific armies there's too many to list
don't fetishize them elite is by definition an exclusive trait and an army with conscripts will never be wholesale elite. there are elite elements and most of them are battle tested but the word you should have used is determined
Yeah don't misuse the word "Elite"; That word is exclusive to Elite Mobs in World of Warcraft. Like Hogger and Rexxar.

The actual "playerbase" is split amongst at least 6 different versions and gamemodes of the game at this point, the worst it's ever been - and in fact not a single one is worth playing anymore.

Everyone asks "where is the messenger?" The world is alive and vibrant.
Hardcore is quite possible the worst available version of WoW currently being played.
Retail PvE, Retail PvP, WotLK PvE, WotLK PvP, SoM, and TBC Private servers are all objectively better in every single way.
