This tweet is lacking important details. The report showed a drop of IQ points when consuming more than the previous standard amount of flouride per liter of water (1.5mg). They did not find any IQ drop for consuming less. The modern standard of flouride per liter is also now 0.7.
So consuming too much harms our brain development. But it did not show that the amount we consume now harms us.
