How do you meditate?
Hit your head as hard as you can with a brick to release yourself from samsara
my friend claims he had a full body orgasm while meditating. I was in the room next door so I believe him cuz he told me directly afterwards and sounded legit
It’s very difficult. I believe most sports, as well as hunting, to be a sort of natural meditation, as they both require a very clear mind.
ive been getting better at meditating its super good for me i think
When people do the close eyes breath and calm down thing and think they just figured out some hidden wisdom, good shit
beyond the SpOokY spiritual benefits of meditation (which i fully believe) there are also scientiically backed physiological benefits

and mental/emotional
Meditation is a practice. It is not calming. Your aim involves becoming as at attention as possible. If you want to calm down, practice sleeping.
super curious. how old are you?
Relaxing is the word that bugged me I think. That misses the point
anyway to answer OP there isn't much you can do wrong. religious meditation requires specific techniques that you don't need to copy if you just want the stress related benefits.
IMO the earliest chinese meditation techniques described in the Liezi and the Neiye (the first daoist meditation text) are the best and the least difficult.
basically just sit somewhere and forget everything you know.
Here is a good description that includes the original text from the Zhuangzi:
Here is the Neiye in full text:
this is true it’s not supposed to be “relaxing” per se
Not even per se. It just isn’t.
